What Would Maddox Do? (WWMD)

Emergency Assistance Program

The Emergency Assistance Program provides aid to individuals and/or families who suffer a profound loss of life or property.   Individuals or families who suffer severe illness, extraordinary hardship, and/or unable to meet basic needs are also eligible to receive aid under this program.  Please contact us for additional details, inclusion criteria, or to apply for assistance under this program.

Youth Development Program

The Youth Development Program provides both inspiration and aid to local children and families.  Each year, the foundation presents a $1000 scholarship to 1 male and 1 female athlete from Lakes Community, Antioch and Grayslake North High Schools who intend to enroll in a 2-or 4-year college, university or vocational school.  Also, one incumbent third grader at Prince of Peace School is chosen to receive a $1000 scholarship towards their tuition.  All scholarship and Character Award recipients are selected by merit for their display of WWMD values.  Our Youth Development Program (YDP) provides support to various youth sports teams and camps that align with WWMD values.  Please contact us for additional details, inclusion criteria, or to apply for assistance under this program.

Assistance Feeding Families Program

The Assistance Feeding Families program aims to help minimize hunger and food insecurity for local families.   To accomplish this, the Butterfly Effect of Maddox J. LoPriore Foundation supports local organizations who are best positioned to obtain and distribute food items to families in need of assistance.  This program selectively supports organizations that display an ability to provide food, dignity, and hope to families so they can focus on other necessities of life, such as education, growth and security.  Additionally, the Butterfly Effect of Maddox J. LoPriore Foundation works with Antioch Open Arms Mission, a local 501(c)(3), to increase the outreach and impact of this program.  Please contact us for additional details, inclusion criteria, or to apply for assistance under this program.  To date, the foundation has donated what amounts to over 56K lbs. of food.
